Honeoye Lake is the small, shallow, friendly one, and the shoreline is packed with cottages that are steadily being replaced by year-round homes. The Town of Richmond wraps around it, from the lake flats at the north end up into the steep hills toward Bristol and Canadice. We do a lot of shoreline rebuild work here: taking down old cottages, digging new foundations on tight lots, rebuilding driveways off East Lake and West Lake Roads, and putting in the retaining walls and drainage that make those slopes livable.

Honeoye's watershed has its own protection rules, and the lake's history with algae blooms means the town is serious about erosion and runoff. Silt fence, stabilized entrances, and outlets that don't send sediment into the lake are standard on every job near the water.

In the hills — Canadice Hill, the roads toward Bristol Springs — it's shale, springs, and slope, and the work is hillside driveways, land clearing, and site prep for the homes going up on view lots. We size the equipment to the site and price the rock honestly.
